I have a degree in counselling and psychotherapy, and a Masters in psychological trauma studies. During this time, I gained a deep understanding of how people, who suffer trauma, each deal with it so differently, and what tools can help to work through trauma.
I then gained an ILM Level 5 in coaching and have spent the years since then helping people to develop resilience to enable them to deal with life's ups and downs, allowing them to bounce back better and stronger than before. I see each client as unique and I have an extensive range of tools that can be tailored to the needs of each individual client.
I have trained in:
- Traumatic Incident Reduction (TIR)
- Emotional Freedom Technique (EFT)
- Mindfulness (no formal training, but I practice it every day)
I specialise in coaching with emergency service personnel, helping people to deal with the pressures of this industry, whether as a frontline emergency responder or a manager dealing with the complexities of the job, whilst trying to find a balance with their personal life. As an emergency worker myself, I understand how ‘helping others’ can have an impact on an individual’s own mental health and well-being. I am passionate about helping people to find a way of caring for and attending to their own needs and desires, whilst also helping others in need, to enable them to not just ‘get by’, but to thrive in their work.
I also offer coaching for those who feel that their lives are becoming overwhelmingly cluttered. I guide them through a programme to deal both with the emotional elements and the physical accumulation of clutter, leading to a calmer state of mind and a calmer environment to live in.
I empower you to be your best self in all aspects of life. I provide friendly and constructive advice to help you reach your full potential.
I will help you realize your goals and provide you with a roadmap on how to reach them and accompish more.
Life can be stressful. I want to give you the advice and tools you need to maximize your personal and professionl relationships, and how to give yourself the time you deserve.
